Lapidus Association work and accomplishments

A free-style wrestling section has been founded in Ashdod, where 75 gifted youngsters learn wrestling. Free-style wrestling lessons in the section led by Vladimir Firger.

In Ashkelon and Beer-Sheva weight lifting sections for 20 and 50 young men respectively are organized by Association.

As financial ability grows, the Kiriat Gat boxing and Petakh-Tikva calisthenics groups will join the Association.
We are planning to build our sports center in one of these cities.
All the accomplishments are ahead. Yet even now our achievements are many.

The Israeli Olympic promise Beni Beniashvili, Ashdod, has won several international free-style wrestling tournaments for juniors. On photo you can see Beni Beniashvili and Alexander Nikonorov.
One of the wrestlers will represent Israel at the Moscow 1st Olympic Games for juniors in July this year.

Alexander Ignatovsky (23) the winner and a prize-winner of many international weight-lifting competitions, 6th place at the last European Championship.
The Associations plans on making strong mutual connections with sports organizations of the CIS, Europe, Northern and South America, Australia.
We set our hopes on the Moscow Juniors' Olympic Games and the summer session at the Minsk sports base.
